A Message to My Friends in Israel

10/6/2002 -  Sir, you must realize that your actions will cause reporcussions.  I can only assume you wish to further escalate things in order to cause the US to "take out" Iraq for you.   I will not defend you if you are not more discerning and responsible for your actions.  I know the Palestinians do things to provoke you.. but there is no justification for your actions in Gaza.  None.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (AP) -- The Mormon church issued a strong anti-war message at its semiannual General Conference, clearly referring to current hostilities in the Middle East, advocating patience and negotiation, and urging the faithful to be peacemakers.

"As a church, we must renounce war and proclaim peace," said Russell M. Nelson, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, which acts under the direction of church President Gordon B. Hinckley.

Nelson never directly referring to Iraq or current moves toward war, but he mentioned the conflict in the Middle East and said "resolution of present political problems will require much patience and negotiation."

The Golden Rule's prohibition of one interfering with the rights of others was equally binding on nations and associations and left no room for retaliatory reactions, Nelson said at the meeting Saturday.

Descendants of Abraham -- Christians, Jews and Muslims -- "are in a pivotal position to emerge as peacemakers," he said.

9/29/2002 -  Mr. Sharon and friends, God Bless you for allowing for the possibility.  It's the beginning.   I'll pray for the result, and for the safety and care of you all.

9/27/2002 - The arrogance, pride and belligerence you are displaying is neither defiance of me or the Palestinians.   It is defiance of God. And it will lead to your destruction by the will of God.   It is written in the Bible.

9/27/2002 - End the violence now.   Take it upon yourself.  Killing and violence will not solve the problem.   Swallow your pride and righteousness.  Do not be misled any longer.

9/25/2002 - Please do not allow others to interfere with your good intentions.  Please do not allow new settlements.

The time for the people of this planet to choose the future is short.  We must either choose the path of God, or face the judgement and purification by God. It must begin now.  As one human to another, I apologize that I did not heed the call which I heard so many times in the past, a call which may have made this all much easier to manifest.  But, as you, I am inherently flawed and impaired by my own sorrow and challenges.  All there is for us to do now is move forward in a new direction, from this moment on.

For whatever reason, I have been charged with being the messenger and the deliverer of the result.  Please understand that God speaks through me out of love.  And that any anger or dismay which may be expressed are in error, the expression of a human, and I apologize for that now, for whatever I write is not intended to cause distress or offense, and I will trust you to accept this as you read.

There are many things which must occur in order to realize heaven on earth.

Israel must understand that that their designation as the chosen tribe is not intended to mean that they will rule the planet or receive all of the gifts of this planet.  God will rule this planet, and does.

You were chosen, as was I, as was Jesus, to carry the burden of indignities of the others on this planet as if  to provide an opportunity to the rest of the people that dwell here to embrace their own humanity, to find compassion in their hearts and to rise above their mortal hatreds and compulsions as a means to learn and evolve as spirits of this world in order to allow for heaven to be realized.

In the Bible, in Ezekiel, it speaks of the need for Israel, for Jews, to accept that Christ did indeed die on the cross to absolve us all of sin, and to relieve our burdens.   The path of Christ brought him many burdens, as has ours, but the surrendering of that pain and suffering is the only way to relieve it.  You must surrender your burden to Christ for the promise of God to be delivered to you.

And that requires that you no longer hold yourselves above others in this world.   The promised land that awaits you is not in Israel itself... there is no land to protect.  It is your hearts and souls that will receive the gift, and Israel is the land  where you are to reside and share and co-exist with all others who enter your land, and all others who are outside your borders.  No one may seek peace by aggressing. Not you, or your enemies, or your allies.  This is how you have been misled, and you must recognize this in order to move forward.

Once these things are realized, and once the others on this planet begin to accept their responibilities to delivering the heaven we have all waited so long to be delivered, the possibility for the creation of that heaven will exist.  Certainly, you should not, at this time lay down your arms and await your destruction. Neither should you bear arms toward your neighbors, who also carry a burden as your people have carried.  You should show them the same compassion you desire for yourselves.  This may seem difficult, but it is easier than the suffering that burdens your hearts in the defenses you employ now.

Certainly those who bear arms against you must undergo an equivalent transformation. And I believe that a first step has been made toward that end.  Please show the leaders of the Palestinians the same respect and honor as you wish for yourself. Show them the same care and compassion you would have for your own people in every way.  You are all brothers and sisters.

To create a wall between your lands will bear no good result.  The Bible clearly states that such a wall will lead to the destruction of your country, as God will shake it to the ground.

The boundaries as designed by prior treaties and agreements should not be observed.   Instead, consideration should be given to justive and equity as if sharing a precious gift with a coveted friend.  That is the road to peace.  Do not be misled by those with other motives besides that peace, because they have other reasons to seek your favor and compliance.

And if the leaders and people of the Palestinians, for whom I feel such burden and sorrow, will do the same, then the possibility of the creation of something more beautiful than you can imagine now will come to pass... between your peoples.  Although we cannot account for the impact of the actions of other nations and peoples at this time. One day we must all take a courageous stand for peace and abundance. To refuse will be to deny the possibility of the existence of us all.  There are no victories to be won, only beauty and joy to be lost.

And please, release Mr. Arafat.  Whether his time of leadership is past or not, he is a true hero to his people, and deserves honor, not imprisonment.  Allow him to take to the streets and speak the vision of peace and justice that he committed his life to in the beginning. Mr. Arafat, I beg you, dig deep into your heart and revive the memory of the love you had in the beginning, and speak that to your people.  The reqrds can only be greater than the suffering your people feel for your well-being now.  Honor them with the love in your heart, and let it cause something greater than you ever imagined.

To Hezbollah, Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and other groups:  I understand your anger and suffering.  I ask that you be patient at this time, and allow this process to begin anew.  Take part in the process.  But like the ISraelis, protect yourself from utside forces, and do not cooperate with others who would encourage you to take more evil actions.  Evil is not what you wish.  Do not allow it to overcome you at this time.

These are the only words I have for you now.  But I want you to know that I am available to you at will should you wish to share in the process of learning with me.   I am new to this calling, there is much to be learned.  But imagine the joy to be gained by the learning in this matter.

I can only say that I am not a man of means. You must choose this if you will, and provide for my passage and care if you so choose.  It is written that this must occur in order to forego the tribulations that will otherwise occur.  But it must be your choice.  I will not attempt to convince you.  It is also written that you will reject me and my words. I am not concerned about criticisms of me or opinions of my wisdom. I have only love for your people and the world.  It is yours to choose if you wish.
