What the Bible Says About the Times We're In

I looked at him, and was a little confused, and then realized that the only people who had come to my house in the 6 weeks I had been there were African Americans.  I looked around the neighborhood outside, and saw Confederate flags proudly flying on every house on the street, except mine. With little effort, I was able to determine that there are people in the south who believe that the south will rise again.

Now, don't take it wrong.. I loved Atlanta.. I think it's beautiful...  I met many great people there.  And I became aware of the beliefs and convictions of people with whom I disagreed.

Isaiah 24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Revelation 3:19: Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.

Daniel 11:7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate which shall come with an army and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail

8: And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and gold, and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. 

9: So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom and shall return into his own land

10: But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return and be stirred up, even to his fortress

11:  And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north and he shall set forth a great multitude, but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

12: And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up: and he shall cast down ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it

13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches

18: After this shall he turn his face unto the isles and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered to him to cease: without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him

19: Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found

41: He shall enter into the glorious land and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab and the chief of the children of Ammon

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries:and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 

43 But he shall have the power over the treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt: And the Libyans and Ethiopians shall be at his step.

44: But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45: And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain: yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and swear by him that liveth foreve it shall be for a time, times and a half. and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

10:Many shall be purified and made white, and tried: but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand.

11: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that maketh desolate set up there shall be a thousand two hundred and 90 days.

12: Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred and 5 and 30 days

13: But go thou thy way til the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

The primary explanation for this Asian Brown Cloud is massive economic expansion.  

This Asian Brown Cloud has some very negative effects.  For starters, it alters the weather.  It actually changes the shape of raindrops. It has effected the monsoons. It filters the sun, they say it blocks the sun from getting to the earth, by about 10%.  The effects are extreme. 

For example, India's rice crop is expected to be 10% less this year.   And, because the sun doesn't make it to the earth, the earth doesn't get quite as warm, and so the oceans don't get heated, and the water doesn't evaporate, and the result is no rain.  Drought.

It gets worse.  In India, this brown cloud causes the southeast to be rainy and the temperatures mild. In the northwest, it creates a drought, and even farther to the west than that, the air pressure caused by the weather patterns forces dry lightning... that is, lightning that is not accompanied by rain, which in turn creates more forest fires.

They say that the effects of the Asian Brown Cloud on the United States, or more accurately, North America, has not yet been determined.  But in Europe, there are floods everywhere, and the storms that create them keep moving east.  In Prague, the rains are worse than they've been since 1890.  70 thousand people were evacuated.  

Parts of the London Underground are flooded.  And they say the droughts in Africa are caused by pollution from the west. Parts of Germany are flooding, and the expectation is that it will only get worse. Officials are afraid that bridges and dams won't hold much longer. Hundreds of animals are being evacuated from zoos, and many are dying.

So now, let's take a look at North America and the United States. 

We had massive fires in Arizona, Colorado, and now, San Diego. These fires have resulted in lifting El Nino, and causing more pressure aloft.  There have been a number of fires in Central Washington, massive fires in Oregon, all caused by dry lightning. The 49 Contiguous United States have been in a drought until just after the fires started. Now, the Southern States are getting rain, the midwest is getting drier and cooler, and the east coast is warm and humid.

Pollution regulations by industries are being relaxed if not ignored.  Cars that burn more fossil fuels are being marketed and sold more often.  And I can't help but notice what seems coincidental, that a dividing line of the diverse weather patterns is the Mason/Dixon line.  That line has incredible historical significance in the history of the battle between the north and south.

And there's a lot going on in the South.  Like, in Lousiana.  There, the West Nile Virus began its killing this year.  And now, they're fitting C-130 military transport planes to begin spraying... in Lousiana. What exactly will they be spraying?

And I have to wonder about David Duke leading marches for the rights of whites, demanding that if African Americans interfere or hit them or take action against them they should be charged with hate crimes.  Another perverse reversal of roles.

And, in regard to the demand for digital tv, one of the major advantages is its compatibility with the broadcasters of most of the rest of the world. It's to be fully installed in tv sets by 2007.  You might want to check out the movie SIMONE, starring Al Pacino. It's about virtual reality that allows an image to look life-like, and ultimately be projected as if it was a real person.  You could see people being killed or injured, and think it was real, and be amazed, say,  as it appears they are brought to life.

And all the talk of asteroids and meteors. The perseids and nt24.

And, then, I can't ignore that in Japan, the governement is instituting a program of national id's for its citizens. People all over the country are protesting... some have dressed in cow costumes and prisoner costumes, and tore the papers informing them of their id into pieces.

We have an economic forum, and the profiteers continue to deceive us.  They certify their financial statemnts withthe phrse "To the best of my knowledge.   So there is no real integrity to this process.

And in the U.S., we'll soon be having a summit on the increasing problem of child abduction, which is no worse than it has been. In fact, it has declined.  All to cause us to accept the implantation of a tracking device in our children.  My parents called this sort of thing the mark of the beast.

And Bush has called upon Americans to be Citizen Spies.  They say they will be limited to truckers and state workers.  But the  Republicans have called upon other Republicans, your neighbors, to be your spies anyway.

And, many Palestinians are speaking of fleeing from the Palestinian territories.   Before winter sets in.

So, I decided to read the bible, in the book of Matthew. And, I have a very good bible that my mother left me with many verses and references highlighted in red. She had even left a bookmark.

Matthew 24:6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must pass, but the end is not yet.

7: For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places

8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. (in the name of God and Christianity)

10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11: And many false prophets (profits?)  shall rise, and deceive many

12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold

13: But he that should endure until the end, the same shall be saved

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations: and then shall the end come.

15:When ye therefore shall see the abomination (in the holy places, the churches) of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place

16: Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains

17:Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any things out  of his house

18: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes

19: And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20: But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day

21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be

22: And except those days be shortened, there should be no flesh saved: but for the elects' sake, those days shall be shortened

23 Then if any man shall be shown unto you, Lo here is Christ, or there: believe it not

24: For their shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders: in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect

25 Behold, I have told you before

26: Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold he is in the desert, go not forth. Behold he is in the secret chambers, believe it not

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west so shall also be the coming of the son of man be

28: For wheresover the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
