Speaking it into existence... |
|
| To
the media: Remember that you have the power to control the message delivered to the
people. Whatever you speak into existence will occur. Be sure that your phrasing and
the ideas you express reflect the vision you have for the future. That doesn't
necessarily mean expressing a bias or opinion. To general site surfers: In a way, I don't really approach this page as a page I want to have completely public. This is a page where, if you don't follow the trail of the conversation, don't know who I'm addressing or what the issues are, this page will likely just seem weird. Sometimes, I make comments that only 1 person in politics or the media would understand.. sometimes I say general stuff or express my complaints. I just look at it as 1 more example of freedom of speech. Like tv and radio and such they don't have to listen. But often, they do.. some appreciate it, some get angry. That's their right as well :} I have no formal or even indirect affiliation with influence with any media or political figures. I just speak my mind, and sometimes, people listen. Sometimes, I actually say something worth listening to. :} - Editor Favorite remarks from site user: "Good job on keeping things cool and well spoken. Your website exhibits quite a bit of control - your adjectives could include evil bastards every now and again without being extreme." and, regarding a piece I wrote for another purpose called "The Privilege & Honor of Serving A Commitment""...statement is right on and could have been written by me, I have always felt this passionately about justice and equality! The sentiment expressed there is the only viable goal for humanity I think. I think what I'm constantly left with more than anything else is how people always say anything is possible.... until someone tries... and then people tell you it's impossible, or you're crazy... like Cesar Chavez, Martin Luther King, John Adams, Jimmy Carter, Susan B. Anthony... It's a good thing they didn't listen to those who said it couldn't be done... 10pm - I've been sitting here thinking about the events of the day... the headline on my broadcast would have been easy to predict... you might think... I think about the report on violence and profanity... and can easily answer the question by pointing to levels of frustration caused by suppression and oppression... how people like me are suppressed by people who don't even have the balls to say why... you all are in charge, you think you're the smart ones, you think you have all the answers... just ignore the serfs and maybe they'll go away. And then I think about MLK, and Bush's announcement today... and I want to be angry at George and the Republicans... and I think about what I know of the atmosphere and attitudes for blacks in the south.... and I become more angry at the so-called liberals who thought that by squealing as social victims of the Republicans and acquiescing on issues they know are wrong, by failing to expose the truth and going along with so many national lies and offenses against the people... and I can't figure out why I should care, for one solitary minute, why I should care about you think of me. I'm going to run as a Democrat... but I will certainly disclaim my association with the party line for the election... you're going to see a real AMerican with courage stepping forward... and if I don't win, it will be your loss... because even if a Democrat of a Green wins, you'll all just be too polite and nice to deal with must be dealt with. I really didn't intend to write insults to a bunch of people tonight... but I have a few tears in my eyes for America tonight. And I have a great deal of distrust for those who expect me to vote for THEM and give THEM money... and you'll probably find a way to rationalize why I should not be so bothered with you... I will not acquiesce. Nor will I continue to give the time of day to those who are so inept. I spent a summer communicating with someone in an effor tot help in causing something, only to find out that what I offered wasn't even passed on.. and I was dead on with my analysis and points of action every time. Guess ya figured you'd just keep me busy til I wore out or something... that crazy guy who's so passionate about America and Democracy. I'm the crazy one? All you do is make me more certain that someone else needs to take the reins... cause you guys aren't getting the job done, and I don't believe you know how. I do, I'm not in the cliques, but we're going to start a new clique... one made up of people who actually are willing to do what it takes to defend Democracy, not their jobs. There is a difference. ANd we won't waste our time listening to you. You won't talk to me? Why should I talk to you? Far as I can tell, you offer nothing of value in the discussions. And I'm not talking about Paul, I'm talking about the Democratic Party. You've all been snookered, and you still don't understand how it happened. And you wonder why politicians show up as untrustworthy in the polls? What do you offer that anyone can believe in. I'd offer some profanity at this point, but I bet you know what I'd say. I'm through saying good things for people who respect noone but their own promotion. 6:10 - Soon, you will actually come to realize that the more "subversive" things I say really are as I speak out on what people tell me. Meanwhile, I'm sinking back into a more mild-mannered analytical response and expression, which is actually a good thing.. .I don't really enjoy being pushy... part of what else they told me... that it's not so much that liberals are worse, at least conservatives are honest about their self-centered approaches, but (like the story about me and the guitar my mother promised me) that liberals talk about things being better, but then it never happens (even if it is because the conservatives block it) so the result is that expectations are raised, and then, the opposition makes it impossible to happen, and so hope is given up altogether. Since their hopes were placed in liberals, they are disappointed with liberals. The key discussion will be Is the United States really United? The answer is no. The next question is what are the distinctions, and how were the divisions created in such a way to discourage discussion, and encourage arbitrary indifference and simple polarization... then you follow the money and power trail. The list of line items is very long. Meanwhile, sand wich is a perfect example of how classism and eliteism occurs in the world... based on the false images created by propagandists. You bet I'll be talking about homelessness on the charlesrehn site... How bout a remake of Black Like Me? Too bad about Sean Penn. I know you wouldn't want to encourage me in any way. Like I always say, try to prevent me, and I'll become more determined. I've had a dog for years. Man's best friend is certainly not man. But I bet, in the end, I'll be looked down on for not promoting, being loyal to, a party line. All take, no give, eliteism. I didn't actually feel this way until listening to the arguements of the people in the midwest this summer, followed by my experiences with the elite. And you wonder why the voting base for Democrats is too small to elect a president. In a system that cherishes conformity and going along with the status quo, it's no wonder this country has evolved to an angry, warring nation that can't get things done in a way that would indicate unity. It's just wrong. And, ultimately, dishonest. Side note that probably only one person will understand how to use: for Bush's interpretation of what equal opportunity means, we would have to move to socialism. No person could have more wealth because it would be promoting disparity and inequality. Being born physically in the United States does not prove equality, we're just trained to believe that, despite the truth. The Divine Rights of Kings are not. Attack the death penalty with Numbers... The Bible allows for, but does not promote the death penalty... but it also says that anyone testifying to cause another person to be put to death, regardless of the reason, is also guilty of murder, because their testimony makes them a conspirer in another death. Testimony to determine innocence or guilt is ok. But testimony of 2 or more people is required to convict anyone in order to avoid malicious intent. One other thing: Wa College & University students walked in protest today at the state capitol to protest higher tuitions... add that to the loop on Wa state education... ask Patty: has Wa state received any loans to improve transportation, as her press release said it would avail us, the one she released to explain voting for the Bush environment plan? 3:30pm - Geez, I take a day off, and the energy levels go down :} Interesting day at school. People there basically said they're Greens... they agree that we have to have a 2 party system, but then say that noone in the 2 parties is interested in their issues, because they're too busy retiring... Their words, not mine. They also talked about the classism that exists, especially in liberals... interesting... remember, I don't have to make this stuff up. I expect to hear form the manager today or tomorrow. The broadcast class... let's just say that they'll be interviewing me before I'd get any air time... but, then, I wasn't going after air time... as a host... :} Cheers! 1/15/2003 - Funny how you can wake up in the morning with the feeling that things have changed somehow.. funny how I can flip around the channels and see one of those announcers I've been harrassing in a bad mood, and wish that I could ask them "What's wrong"... Funny how I think some of the places trying to present things I believe in get confused because they don't understand that I work on the quantum or unconscious level... like on classism... and class warfare... it already exists... people experience it everyday... the question is, what do you do about it? Acknowledge it, and deliver a way to deal with it that turns it into something productive and non-confrontational... other people will cause the confrontation. The opportunity is to resolve it. As much as I'd like to have national publicity, I know I can't count on anything, and that's alright. It won't be a problem until August. It will seem like I'm not making progress on what I'm doing, but I am... given my political situation, I'm not one who's in the financial position to buy my way in or buy advantages... so I'll have to take it step by step... if that campaign manager is willing to work with me, I'm sure things will accelerate. If not, then I'll just proceed with the original plan. Speaking of plans... the people in the union don't want the trip to Africa to be a high profile thing... we're thinking of doing a news conference upon return instead of February. If you've wondered why I haven't built the union more, it's because what it's about will very much be about in my campaign, and will be the basis for my economic policies. I'm expecting 2 fundraisers in DC by the same person/group, 1 for the union, one for the campaign. Peggy's like that. She found out I was runing and said, "Well, then I guess we'll have to help him". That's the kind of attitude I like. :} Her husband's an expert on rainforests. Lynn got one of those "minister by mail" things, and married them a couple years back. Let's see if you can figure that out. :} Have a great day. Gotta go to school now.
8:30 pm. Seems like I can only write for about 10 hours, and then I run out of words... :} News in review late tomorrow, probable "Creating the World" update on Thursday. Focus on actions vs words in N. Korea, the Death Penalty & Numbers, Illinois... Creating will be actual first chapter of stuff about me and the way I think (that'll be a good one)... Will be working on specific priority issues after that (economy, health care, generations, war, terrorism, abortion, death penalty, prisons, police, media control, e-movies, drugs, etc. If I've siad it before, you'll hear it again) Good to hear people are still interested in JFK. There's one online petition with the names of over 100,000 people demanding the truth. Check that one out for fun. Broadcasting class tomorrow. Then a meeting with the political activism forum. I'm working on it. 11/14/2003 - music - in honor of Fred This is for someone who loves Barbra: music
