Speaking it into existence... |

- Cynicism is a wonderful thing when channeled into resolving the object of cynicsim...
"My religion is Truth, my practice is non-cooperation with evil." - Gandhi 10/30/2002 3am pt - Couple of programming notes: One of my favorites... the "Apocalypse Report" will be out for the weekend, audio and text...just working out the logistics for mic placement in order to interview Mt Etna... a lot of spikes on the vu's... Canned the What's her name Coulter piece. She just isn't that good... Besides, Bush and company provide more than enough examples of that particular point... On "Why You voted for George Bush..." Decided to hold that off for the Presidential Season, when it will be more relevant and damning.. it won't say what you think, I'm sure... it's all about presentation... BTW don't forget to watch GW... when he uses his right hand while delivering a specific point, it's what the Bible calls "forecasting" it means, usually, that he's saying something about someone else, but if you insert his name instead of Saddam or whoever, just reverse the object of the sentence, he'll be telling you what he's doing. Kind of like when he says Iraq is makng a fool of the UN. Think about it. Who's been saying demeaning things about the UN? Have a piece in the can about my experiences with the 89 (?) San Francisco earthquake and governmental emergency preparedness... will save it for after the election... And I'm working on a really good piece on Gun Control.. sort of... it really has more to do with how politicians claim affinity with the NRA, make sure guns are readily available, and then police departments go and buy them back.... I'm not against guns... after 911, I actually almost joined the NRA... that's really what the 4th is about... in the old days, guns were everyday tools in the country.. like rural country... snakes and bears and things to contend with... Have a few new chapters on For the Love of the World... they need a little more work... probably Tuesday or Wednesday of next week... I'll be doing 2 open mics next week around town... fortunately for you, ya won't be able to hear them :} And I'm actually putting a demo together for talk radio... thought maybe I should pay for that golf club I bought a couple weeks back. And there will, indeed, be a story on Robert Blake, soon. Thanks to a couple of other reports on other cases, there's still work to be done, but it will tie the punchline together much better. John Stossel's piece on the tobacco companies is one of them... I was just thinking how years ago, I was offered the news anchor positons for a midwest radio network eminating from some station called "The Voice of the Ohio Valley"... and another one in DC... I just couldn't imagine being off the Pacific Coast back then... tens of thousands of miles later, I found out I like Ohio.. and I really miss this little Persian restaurant Right Next to Taco Joe's on Rockville Pike just down from Best Buy... :} It 'll be fun to see what happens this time out. Finally, all these notes and comments... I keep hearing the public transportation ads with a great deal more frequency... this is not rebellion... just communication... I have this book my mother gave me, and it says I should do this. A few of you will actually know what I'm referring to. I'm a Democrat, but I also know that what I have to offer in the public conversation would not be served by party affiliation if it means softening the message. The message isn't mine to soften. It's Ben Franklin's, John Adams, a few other of those ancient terrorists and a guy named God.. if I didn't really believe that, I wouldn't be doing this. Don't ever confuse the message with the banter. The message is what it's about, and all that matters. "All or nothing in the eyes of the world" -Susan B. 10/29/2002 - Latest favorite comment from a democraticfundamentalism.org "member" "Good job on keeping things cool and well spoken. Your website exhibits quite a bit of control - your adjectives could include evil bastards every now and again without being extreme." I think I'm going to frame it... personally, I thought lying propagandists was rough enough... he must not have seen the first rev of the letter to GW :} Okay, so I'll quit talking about Wachovia... it's a story unto itself, how they broke their own policies once to assist me when I was in a pinch... nothing illegal, just bailed me out of one of those special moments of corruption I was stuck in the middle of. For those who think I'm too harsh.. consider this... here I am at this little website with a growing constituency... and a great number of things to say and contribute... some great strategies to share... but, the circle is a little tight, and everyone hates a newcomer...so, what do you expect when you won't communicate. That's all fine, but ultimately, it will generate my candidacy as either a Democrat or "un-affiliated". Probably unaffiliated for many, many reasons. And the funny part is, none of you will take my candidacy seriously. That will be the fun part for me... because in my working plan... I won't need mass media coverage. I learned early on, there's always an alternative. And many of them are ideas I tried to give away. But I must admit, there are a few of you I'd love to hire, and you'd be really surprised who the specific individuals are that I'm referring to. I'll be posting Help Wanted ads soon. Volunteers and paid positions. The time article on running a campaign is very informative, and everything I'll be campaigning against if I proceed on this. I've said some pretty interesting things (a nice way to put it) on a number of subjects that will all need to be defended at some point... and I actually look forward to the criticism. What an opportunity to create a national intellectually honest discussion, and give people the opportunity to reclaim the values they have been coerced and disinformed into abandoning. Underestimation is a powerful advantage. :} And of course, if Al really runs, I'll be campaigning for 2, even though he'll be campaigning for one. :} I love a challenge.
10/28/2002 - Multiple updates since original post. So, did you notice how the audience responded when you expressed a vision? Works everytime, when it comes from the passion of the heart. When it's not, it's apparent, especially when real vision is available for comparison. It's the only way to overcome propagandistic lies. Nice quip to counter and expose while refraining from going negative. 8 8 7 9 10. Must drive ya nuts. :} Yeah the canoe one. The handlebars one ain't bad, but it works both ways. The bagpipes are fun, but they're a bit ambiguous. And the foreign films? the latter two are why you seek professional guidance to deal with details you don't have knowledge about. You know, watch my back and light my way and all that kind of stuff. Kind of how I generate teams and business alliances. But all of it leaves the impression of implied authority and requirement to conform. I have neither requirement or desire. As I continually say, partnership is great, but it has to mean the same thing to all particpants, and it only works because of mutual respect. Ain't synchronicity fun? If you only knew what I was writing about right now, you'd chuckle. Wisdom is everywhere. :} I really liked NYML alot, til I realized it was just a commercial. And that dream about the Dreyfuss commercial... I actually understand what it means. Spooky, eh. Now all I have to do is figure out the one about Al and George that I had the other night. But the one that really amused me was the public transportation spots after silly broadcasts the night before. I'd turn on the tv the next day, and there it was. Immediately, when I turned the set on.First thing. Go figure. Can you imagine the guys at Langley reading this? I like to talk about synchronicity with music.. that way, they get to listen to music at work. :} BTW - Classism isn't about money, but it often accompanies it. 10/8/2002 - There's an incredible amount of good, informative programming available to all on a variety of channels. I must say, though, that Fox does appear to be making a bit of a statement about its alliances, again, in its coverage of George Bush, especially in its news and editorial coverage. Just be carfeul about what you believe. There's a reason for everything said on this site, and it's because of research. Do your research on the media reports as well. Don't ever believe anything you're told carte blanche... that's why God gave you a mind. :} To the media: Remember that you have the power to control the message deliverd to the people. Whatever you speak into existence will occur. Be sure that your phrasing and the ideas you express reflect the vision you have for the future.
