To general site surfers: In a way, I don't really approach this page as a page I want to have completely public. This is a page where, if you don't follow the trail of the conversation, don't know who I'm addressing or what the issues are, this page will likely just seem weird.  Sometimes, I make comments that only 1 person in politics or the media would understand.. sometimes I say general stuff or express my complaints.  I just look at it as 1 more example of freedom of speech.  Like tv and radio and such they don't have to  listen. But often, they do.. some appreciate it, some get angry.  That's their right as well :} I have no formal or even indirect affiliation with influence with any media or political figures. I just speak my mind, and sometimes, people listen. Sometimes, I actually say something worth listening to. :} - Editor

Cutting last night's cast almost knocked me out... had to get up and watch a couple things, though, guys I try not to miss.  Even the guys who who think I don't like them :}

You might think that I continually go back on certain things... the only thing I'm really uncertain about is whether to file as Democrat or unaffiliated... it's the same thing.. why should I do things to benefit a party of people who don't show a citizen enough respect to return a phone call (3 actually).. that doesn't show up to me as people who give a damn about citizens, and if anything, are consumed with their own importance.   Primadonnas, ya know.

It astounds me that everytime I talk to people, I take a deep breath and tell them what my issues and platform are, thinking they're going to think I'm some sort of radical or malcontent... time after time after time they get excited, and end up speaking about much more radical things than I believe are appropriate. So, you see, their issues and their feelings about it are as strrong, if not stronger, than my own.  They want a leader, not a primadonna.

So, it doesn't surprise me at all that the DNC won't call, or certain primadonna poltical analysts and others won't talk to me... it's just a further statement of their insistence that I kiss their pinkies and acknowledge their omnipotence... which I won't do. It's symbolic of the reversal of roles that need to occur, which is to have politicians honor their selection by the people... as opposed to politicians making people believe they should be glad that they are graced by the politicians, or pundants, presence in the situation.  That's the very classism I will be speaking about. It's not that I dislike politicians and reporters... I just don't believe that I am above or beneath any of them. I don't respect power and position.  I respect good ideas. If you become offended by my remarks and defiance of your collective "power", then I would suggest that you take a look at the fact that you wouldn't be offended if you didn't know you were guilty.

I'm going to run a very different campaign than America has seen before...  when I announce, I'm going to allow one 1-hour interview... and I have a few people in mind to do it on a few different outlets... but I actually don't care if anyone interviews me or not.   I intend to talk to the people, not the media.  I intend to prove that the people are more powerful that the politicians and the media. It's not a war.  But it is a challenge to have people voluntarily come off their pedestals and act like real human beings again.

I will never criticize anyone for the effort and commitment it takes to rise to the level of skill to be a national figure, unless it comes by way of corruption.   Nonetheless, that does not make them better people.

If you're interested in the interview, let me know.  Otherwise... see ya in the White House... and I won't be watching it on tv. And no, I'm not getting carried away with myself.  I'm going to represent the people, and people will understand that. They will respect and support that, regardless of the reports to bolster ad sales during the ratings sweeps.

Final PS: You can drink all the beer you want... but just remember one thing.. I haven't lied about my past, nor lied about my positions. But, I have supported the issues of the Democratic Party when I agreed with them... you want to make it like you'll use mj against me, go for it. Really. It'll only help me.  30% of America... go ahead and alienate them some more.  700,000 people per year.  They, too, will finally have a representative. If I'm indifferent to you, just remember, a simple email or phone call would have changed  a great deal.  But I wasn't important enough.. just one of those stupid, hard working people out here trying to help the Democratic party, with every ounce of energy I had, only to be snubbed, time and time again.  And I only made mj a big deal to give you support... as far as I was concerned, there were many more important issues.  Like I said, take your best shot.. I love extra examples of hypocrisy.   So will the guy across the desk from you.

And, like I said before, as long as we serfs stay in our places, you guys love us... remember this WE HAVE A VOICE. I'm interested in the truth.and freedom.  What are you committed to?  And if you're offended by my remarks, remember, I'm offended by people who act like they're better than everyone else.  That's what has to end in this country first. I don't plan to start a war against the media... but there's plenty of ammo. The veil of the facade of righteousness. It's everywhere.  I feel used, and I don't like it. But I don't intend to make it an issue... unless I'm forced to explain certain things misconstrued to smear me.

3am - Now the truly funny part... I finished writing the above (btw, I wasn't the only one to catch you flopping on the subject) and there was a special on Sundance about MJ, hosted by Woody Harrelson... among other things, it showed a clip of Jimmy Carter endorsing the decriminalization of marijuana... I guess if you want to criticize me on the subject, you'll have to criticize him too.  But that's what spin, er, lies are for, right?

12/12 BRAVO!  I always say, when you get what you ask for, embrace it.  Does that mean I can't run for president? :} I'm real clear I'm not exactly being welcomed, but I'm not all that concerned about that... and I really am very serious.. not as much about running, but about the issues and people.  I hope you don't question THAT. It   isn't about me. But I'm sure getting a nifty education.  Thanks for   that. Wish I could afford the Bible codes software... that would be interesting... but I did get a text-based copy of the right version of the Koran. Maybe in a few years, I'll have time to write a program. :}

BTW.. I smoke.. hopefully not for long... I fully support indoor bans on smoking... so long as people treat me like the thoughtful person I am for smoking outside the doors... even when it isn't banned.  They usually don't, though.  I actually agree with banning smoking tobacco altogether...

When you're creating the future, you don't worry much about those polls and folks who can't give up on looking at the past to see the future... the past is the endless loop to be broken. :} Besides, I'm a Jimmy... if ya wanna look at the past. It's uncanny.

12/12/2002 - 5am Noone sleeps in this house.We just cat nap.

Good news... we have a videographer for the Africa trip... someone really well known who has had stuff play in the big leagues... Ted knows her :} I promised not to say any more right now. Got an email from Columbia - the usual stuff on musicians... good to know the old guy has had his fastest selling album ever... someday I will get the truth about all that. There's a few things sticking in my craw that I'll get to the bottom of one day.. :}

PS... I was joking... sometimes I can't help myself... got into BLM stuff in 1969.

BTW, sometime, while I'm on the road next year there WILL be an album...  I have 3 tunes going around in my head now...

Fascinating what's going on with Lott... couldn't happen to a better guy... well, maybe a couple... can't wait til it's my turn... who knows, maybe it will be the beginning of my music career... that or a comedy act... :} There's still a couple things I can't explain, though... maybe a hundred... and there's  a bunch of stuff that even I wouldn't put in writing... So, is there really a sequel to Kung Pow?

I hear you do your reports about how the only thing missing is someone vaguely like me (without ties to the beltway)... don't ever doubt it, I'll be in it.  Just maybe not in the Democratic Party. Interesting how the supporters in one way don't care if they win (essentially, they don't believe a (semi-) normal citizen can win...) they just want someone to be willing to speak up for their issues... funny.  Caught the article on the poet... any clue what I mean? The D Word.

Maybe I'm a little difficult... but you wouldn't want a pushover NOW, would ya?  I still think you'll all end up voting for me... go ahead and laugh now... :}
