This will give you everything you need to understand the deceptions and dangers this country faces with the Bush Administration.  Take your time, read it carefully, and come to your own conclusions. Links below open in a new window, so you won't lose your place.

7/27/2002 - I sent an email to the White House on May 21st, after George Bush went to Florida and challenged Fidel Castro to hold free elections by saying "listen to the voices of the people, and count their votes."

This is not about me.  This is about your government.  This is about the corruption that damages lives everyday.. corruption that goes unnoticed because people like me know they are powerless against the wealthy and powerful. Until they are willing to take a stand.

For the record... and after you've cussed and sworn and asked who the heck this guy thinks he is, always remember this:  I am an American Citizen with inalienable rights and privileges.  And, here's the thing, I have the right to free speech.  And until or unless those rights are suspended, I will oppose your administration, I will continue to speak out. That's what makes this country great.

I am a pencil-necked geek, and there are many of us in America.  We have a joke in the Silicon Valley, amongst those of us who accept our niches in life.... all of you laugh at us, but we're in control of the world.  I have never suggested this, but imagine a TIPS informant files a report on a pencil-necked geek.  Switches could be thrown all over the place, just to send a message. It only takes a quick off-on.

You may shut down Worldcom to keep the American people off line, to drastically impede communications during the elections.  In any war against a people, the first thing dictators do is cut off communications.  And you think we don't notice.

I am a pencil-necked geek, David to your Goliath, and the stone in my sling is the truth. The truth will be assimilated.  Resistance is  futile.

I know what you're doing.  You should be very careful with your actions.  The American people are not as stupid as you presume. And declaring martial law would be a dangerous mistake.

REPORT: Presidential Powers In Times Of Emergency: Could Terrorism Result In A Constitutional Dictator? Presidents Create Their Own Emergency Powers  By John Dean, former White House Counsel to Richard Nixon.  The Watergate Whistle-blower.

I've put in a great deal of thought about what to say to you and how. What I decided to do is have an intellectually honest discussion with you and those who read this, so that you would understand, so that America would know the whole story so they could print it if need be.  That will be up to you.

Now, I'm not a typical person at all. Pencil-necked geeks rarely are. I was diagnosed as being a genius when I was in the second grade.  It was a hundred question test and it ended on the third question.  I never took it all very seriously, but I thought it was interesting. I just do what I do, like anyone else.  We all have our own gifts. Every person I've ever met has their own area of magnificence.   Even you. (BTW it was 3 dui's, not one? Right?)

I say diagnosed because many times, it seems like a curse.  I see things, integrate things, remember things I wish I didn't know.  But I do take these things in, and because of my own upbringing and character, I can not ignore them.

At the same time, it's a true blessing, because it empowers me to empower other people.  And when they are empowered, it feels good. It's fun to watch people gain confidence and self-esteem. And it allows me to understand things and people, appreciate the little things and truly enjoy the few luxuries I bother to acquire and admire.

My only real long-term possessions are a guitar worth $85 at a pawn shop, another back-pack guitar, about 2000 or so lp's and 3,000 or so singles.  And a little lap-top I use as a jukebox for my database-driven collection of 6,000+ plus mpg's.  I only have about 24,000 cuts more to record.

People think I'm enigmatic, eccentric, austere, emotional, poetic. If they know me even a little, they don't play games with me because they know I'm fair and honest, and I won't jerk them around.  People like to work for me because I empower them as employees and as individuals. I integrate their personal goals with the goals of the work I apply them to, and find ways to allow them to experience what they need to know in order to advance their careers, and be better people. They know that. They appreciate the breather from the norm. I just go around planting seeds of empowerment.

I realized early on that few people understand what I'm talking about unless I'm very careful to test their ability to integrate new concepts. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up, go to Stanford University and become a lawyer specializing in Constitutional Law. I thought it would be fun to be in a think tank.  I believe I was being groomed to be a politician.  And the AP says that in 1972, I became the youngest person in American history to run for an elected office.

But those who actually know me know me as a songwriter.  I've been writing since I was 8 or 9, hundreds of them, and there's no single thing I love to do more.  For me.

That said, what I decided to do was just express what I really feel and think.   I'm probably, hopefully wrong about a few things because I don't know everything about what you're up to.  But I certainly know enough to see the patterns.  The possibilities.  The deceptions.

Ya know,  I really trust the people.  I really do.   The people of this country will protect what I am trying to accomplish by their knowledge of the truth. Many have heard my message. But  I am not doing this to make friends.

I'm going to say things that many will not like. But, so long as Democracy is restored, no matter what, I'll be satisfied.  Not happy. Satisfied.  That's all this is about.  The truth of deception by one who was trusted so much by so many is hard to hear, making it all the more a perverse betrayal.

When you said you trust the people, you were talking about your cynical point of view to trust us to be uninformed and ignorant.  We are not.

It's not personal, at this level anyway.  It's simply about corruption and the law.  I'm not going to point out all the details.  So many people know the truth about you and the election of 2000. And so much more.

And the polls.   With the appropriate data, I could supply a plausible result that says you have a fly on your nose.  I understand polls.  The next time you put out a poll that says 60% of the people approve of your performance, I'm going looking for the data.  I have enough friends to find it.  Can't wait.

The reason I brought up  the test is because the question that ended it was the one where they show you the picture of the brick wall, and the question is "How many bricks are there?".

I said "Do you want to know how many bricks I actually see on the page, or do you want to know how many bricks it would take to support that structure?"

My teacher, Jean Doerr laughed.  She said, "I can't tell you that, just answer the question."

I said, "There are14 blocks that I can see, but to support it would likely take 23, depending on how much weight it needs to support."

She said, "So, what's your answer?"

I said, "I can't answer the question without more information."

It went on and on like that for quite some time.  Finally, she said, "That's alright, I know enough.".

I thought I was being punished.  I liked tests, because I thought it was interesting to find out what I knew, and to observe what was considered important.

The analogy there, for clarity, is simply that I don't see things in a linear manner.  I see a huge picture.  Huge.

All of that was to explain this.

People think I'm a very quiet person.  And, that is how I present myself, because others become intimidated by my ability to correlate information.   Once they learn I'm not a competitive person (except in terms of excellence in my own work, a competition with myself) it doesn't bother them.

When I went to work at Intuit, in Palo Alto, a very fine company that I respect a great deal, I left in the same way I usually do.   I get frustrated, because I see so much more possibility than most people can adapt to.  So I took the attitude early on that what I would do is not worry about titles and so forth, and just give what I had to give, do  my best, and, instead of causing turmoil at places I worked by being unhappy and effecting other employees, when I felt there was nothing else to offer at that tme, I moved on.

I'm one of those crazy pencil-necked geeks who believes that quality of life is more important than money.

Some people mis-interpret my self-confidence as arrogance.  True, I'm proud of the work I do under normal circumstances.  But, I just know myself, and what I'm capable of.  It's as simple as that. Just as other people do.

At Intuit, I was, I think, the 10th person in the tech support department.  I had been a consultant for a number of years before that in the Seattle area.  My specialty was client accounting.  I had been Director of Support Services for ProTymSystems, a mini-computer based computer time-sharing accounting system that was considered the best in the area.  It was located in the bottom floor of the original Microsoft Building on Northrup Way.

So, by the time I got to Intuit, I was the old man in the shop. In the first 3 weeks, I interviewed for a supervisor position at their request. I didn't get the job because they said I was too laid back. Something about being from Santa Cruz... you know how those people are...  I just laughed.

Then they decided a month later to create 4 new positions, product specialists.  The function was to pro-actively resolve customer support issues, given that some 70% of people never open a manual.  Intuit taught me a great deal.   Scott Cook is fabulous to work for.

Yet, they were in the midst of converting from a garage business to a major corporation. And, they had some inappropriate things going on that needed to be resolved.  The employees in the "non-professional" areas were about to walk out.  And the manager of the department decided to call the grievance group the "suggestion commitee, and we were welcome to point out if we needed more garbage cans, etc."  I don't know if she really wasn't aware, or thought that ignoring it would go away.

By then, I had been given the "choice" job of Product Specialist for Quicken 3, 4 &5, as well as initial work on QuickBooks. That included being on the "design" team for the products. My job was to pro-actively identify support issues, as well as a vast array of other responsibilities.  And the job description included the phrase "all of the responsibility and none of the authority."  I understood the description and it presented a fun challenge.

When I accepted the position, I told them it was great, but they should consider a different configuration of personnel.  They thanked me for the opinion, but said that they wanted to proceed as planned.  That was fine with me.  And, they hadn't gotten to know me yet.  I always tell employers that if they ask me my opinion, I won't mince words, but I fully respected their right to make the call, and would support it any way I could.

Meanwhile, my promotion caused additonal unrest, because I got the choice job, and I was one of the newest employees.  I understood the frustration.   Then they invited me to the strike meeting.

Their concerns were real, but, because of inexperience, they didn't understand the business prerogatives that were implemented and for what reasons.  The system wasn't working, but they couldn't identify the problem, and chose to blame it all on the department manager.  I knew that wasn't the whole story. After explaining it all to them, it was gratifying, because the person who was most upset about my promotion told me she understood, now, why I got the job.

Within 2 months the problems were gone, and the rest is Intuit history.  They have a right to be proud.

The point of all that was to prepare you for this, and it won't be pleasant to hear.

Because, I'm so laid back, people think they can take advantage of me.  They obviously don't know me.  But it gets me into some jams where people think I'll go along with things.  When I refuse, it causes problems.  Like, I refuse to break the law on behalf of my employers.  I simply refuse.

So, I found that sometimes, it was good to have a phrase or 2 that accurately described my feelings and yet shocked them enough to send a warning.   Sometimes, people would ask what my policy was if they didn't pay their bill.  I found people didn't usually ask that question unless it's part of their business plan.

I'd say "Well, first, I know your finances because I work on your books.  If you're experiencing cash flow problems or just experiencing a sales slump, no problem, I'll always work with you.  But, if you have the money, and you have a complaint or won't express it, or for some reason just don't pay me, and if you put my back up against the wall about it, regardless of how nice you think I am, I'll become the toughest son of a b**** you ever wanted to get off your back."

I only had 2 clients that ever played games with me about money.   Besides, my clients liked me.  And for those 2, I politely found them someone else to work with.

What I was really trying to do is empower people, and I understand the ebbs and flows of business.

So, what I've mainly been doing on the internet the last few months is empowering people, giving people permission.  Permission to be Americans.  To provide them with information and hope. To show them a way to deal with what we naively call Globalization. And I've described to them the benefits of a non-violent general strike. But, it's so much more than that.  George, if you want someone to blame, blame yourself.

But, I want to discuss a few issues that lead me to this moral imperative to take action at this time.

I was willing to just move on, get over it so to speak.   Understand, I did not vote in the last election.  I won't let that happen again. My issue is with the failure of Democracy.  And the results.

The threat of terrorism is real... I acknowledge that, and the fact that the actions of our government and corporations are responsible for precipitating the hatred for the United States in the developing nations on this planet.  Blame our leaders and corporations.

REPORT:  From Hitler To Saddam Hussein to Osama bin Laden - Insider Connections and the Bush Family’s Partnership with Killers of Americans

Imagine we were a small country, and the most powerful nation with the largest army said they were going to topple your government.  Would you seek weapons of mass destruction?

As the leader of the country, you'd be remiss not to.   And so, we prod and taught them, daring them to take action against us to justify the plundering of a country in order to take control of the oil fields and water because the oil supplies are dwindling, and the race is on to control it.

The Bush Administration says there are Iraqi sleeper cells in the United States.   I say, is this  another case of "accuse your opponent of what you're doing so no one will suspect".  Opposition leaders to Saddam Hussein will be meeting in your office in the next  couple of weeks, and it doesn't take much imagination to figure out what you'll be talking about.

A couple of days ago, the U.S. announced that  we would no longer negotiate about reforms in Iran.  Meanwhile, hours later, a band of terrorists were caught in Iraq, their origin was from Iran.  2 mortal enemies, at it again... immediately after we end talks.

And I suppose Iran will take action against Iraq at some point, and we will use our air force to provide air support with the justification that Iraq violated the no fly zone.  Maybe not, since a pencil-necked geek has identified something fishy.

Just today, we began using JDAM Bombs to take out Iraqi communications posts.  The first step to take out  any country, of course, is to disable communications.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East, spokesmen from Jordan says that Palestinian Autonomy is the key to a continuing alliance against terrorism.

Other reports claim that the United States and others are amassing troops in Jordan, in preparation for an attack on Iraq.  But, Ari Fleischer said, "That hasn't happened yet, and I can't imagine that happening in the near future".  Given that the Bush Administration always say the opposite of what it means, it means we should expect an assault on Iraq very, very soon.

If another government surrounded the White House today, even with George Bush in it, I would defend it with my life.  I would resist my invaders as the French did against the Nazis.  Not to defend George Bush.  But as a patriot, defending my nation and president.

And yet, we accept the propaganda to believe that the Palestinians and the other countries in the axis of evil should just lay down and take their licks. Be dominated and oppressed. What hypocrisy.  It's a ludicrous presumption.

Fleischer says the next great front in the war on terrorism is in South East Asia.   Viet Nam, all over again.  Remember, North Korea is in the axis of evil.   WIll they be our next partner in war? Or the next to be attacked?

My concern is that this administration uses a propaganda technique that's difficult to overcome.  It shows up in the oddest places, and it takes understanding the criminal mind to be able to read the signs.

I understand the criminal mind because I've unfortunately learned lessons by being an unwitting accomplice in government corruption, and had to battle the individuals involved on a legal basis, as well as to actually survive.

The propaganda technique is simple:  accuse others of what you are going to do, or plan to do, so that you have the moral high ground and are dominant in the arguement.  It's a playground bully tactic, at the heart of the new Anne Coulter book called "Slander".

It's like this: A Republican says, "the Democrats are lying".  As soon as that's said, you think, about what?  That statement was made by a credible source.   Something must be up.  They wouldn't lie or deceive me, right? After all, the Republicans are the conservative Christians. They don't subscribe to the idea of   "the ends justify the means", do they?

The Democratic response would be something like, we don't lie, and these are the facts.

The Republicans will say, what a silly remark, get over it.

What just occurred on the psychological level is incredibly effective. See, whoever raises the issue first establishes the baseline for the truth.   Then, all other information is weighed against "the truth", and must be fully proven to overcome it.  But there is another factor involved in this exchange.   It's called "Permission".

See, 2 things have to happen.  The party making the original claim, the Republican, has to validate or grant credibility to the arguement of the other party (Democrats) in order for the original perception to be overcome.

When Republicans tell Democrats to "get over it", they not only disallow the response,  the perception is that the charge was accurate, and the evidence against it is insufficient to prove it wrong.  Even more, the demeaning and humiliating nature of the remark appeals to the "cowboy" in us all.   Finally, it frustrates the opponent.  Because, as you remember from your youth, you can't win an arguement with someone yelling liar, liar, pants on fire.

If it upsets you that I'm picking on Republicans, all I can say is I'm sorry, I understand your anger and frustration, but I'm telling you the truth. I vote for honest candidates, regardless of the party.

This sort of behavior is the kind of thing my mother would punish me for because it isn't nice, isn't right, isn't fair, isn't just, and just isn't what God had in mind in the golden rule. It is lying, pure and simple.

Didn't their mothers teach them the difference between right and wrong?  They say Andrea Yates was deeply disturbed, but still knew the difference between right and wrong.   Am I to expect less of my leaders?

But listen to the Republicans, and you'll see that their primary psychological strategy is, that, when confronted with a statement or question that legtimately challenges their position, they make a quick little remark about the character or looks of their questioner, or they'll make a remark about a faux paux made 20 years ago, or ask a stupid question like, "What's the matter, Paul, did your dog bite you?"

Works every time.  That's the way they got you to believe that Election 2000 elected George Bush.  The press worked very hard to maintain the impression that George Bush was in the lead. Bush's nephew at Fox was the one who made the "early call" of the election (his boss moved to CNN), to Construct the perception of Bush's lead. All the while, the contest was neck and neck. They knew it would be close.

Now, I know a lot of people don't want to hear this, they thought this was handled... I ask you to read this, think about it, consider your memories of what happened.  Remember your impressions of things. Consider this:  What is propaganda?

When Gore called Bush to say that he would not, in fact, concede the election, the report that hit the airwaves was that Gore told him "You don't have to be snippy".  Snippy is an unusual word, and was used to imply that Gore was weak and unmanly.  And, on a neural level, using the letter "p" creates a negative or foolish impression.  It really does.  Say the word pumpernickel.   It even feels funny.

It was all a setup to put Gore in the position of the underdog who should simply be quiet and take his petty little grievances home.  But just the opposite was true.

REPORT:  Why US Press Didn't Give Bush a Burning  The papers knew about Dubya's deals in 2000. Strangely, they kept quiet

Fraudulent ballots were included in the count, in favor of Bush.   The overseas ballots that were collected from servicemen were fake and invalid.  But the Republicans kept complaining that Democrats were trying to exclude the voices of our men in uniform.  It was a perfectly executed lie.

And sure, Gore lost in the places where he requested re-counts.  I'll even agree he should have requested a recount in the entire state.  I believe he thought, as did I, that the courts would order the recount, and thus, relieve him of the public pressure of being seen as the one requesting it.

Even the judge in Leon County heard testimony that the voting machines had a 5% rate of error in punching out the chads, and that in a close election, a recount should be done.  There's more.

The butterfly ballot. They said the woman who made the ballot was a Democrat.  That was true, but for years before that, she was a loyal Republican.   Furthermore, the use of the butterfly ballot was illegal in the first place.  It should not have been used.

I'm no dummy.  I can think of 2 Presidential Elections where I voted on butterfly ballots in California, and I was so confused as to which hole was for which candidate, and it was so important to me to be sure they knew who I was voting for, that I wrote the name of the candidate at the bottom of the punch card.  I thought, surely this will make certain my intent.

See, like everyone else, it's not like I vote everyday, so I'm not all that familiar with the machines and procedures.  The Republicans counted on that.

In Florida, while the press was reporting Gore a sore loser, and the mantra "get over it" was being plastered in your mind by the press and Republican operatives, the conspiracy of all conspiracies was working.

It gets worse. More than 150,000 names were purged from the voter polls, intended to reduce the number of African Americans on the voter roles.  Why?   African Americans generally tend to be Democrats.

I know African Americans who were mysteriously dropped in Maryland as well.  Where else might this same kind of fraud have occurred? Where will it occur in this upcoming election?

And the Republicans:  they thought the Democrats would only file a law suit.  They counted on it.  But since they now own the Department of Justice, what do you think will happen?  So far, they've decided to hire 3 more people who speak creole.

Meanwhile, Katherine Harris, the hub of the conspiracy in Florida is running for Congress.  Jeb is receiving numerous grants and acts of Federal Assistance in order to cause Floridians to vote for Jeb for Governor again.

REPORT : One Bush Helps Another from the New York Times

Isn't it a little odd that a President who displays no interest in the environment would make restoring the Everglades a priority of his administration?   Or buying back oil leases to prevent oil development that might threaten the beaches and tourist business?  I'm not against the policy, it's just incredibly inconsistent.

If drilling for oil doesn't ruin the environment, then why worry about it in Florida?  Because the lie is that Bush does know about the damage it causes, doesn't care, but doesn't want Florida to lose the money from the tourist business... and Jeb to lose the election.

The bottom line:  Al Gore is your President Elect, still waiting to be sworn in.

electionfraud.gif (7342 bytes)

The key to it all was public perception, and the Republicans knew that if they had convinced the American public that Al Gore really lost, after all, that they could get away with the final act of the coup, and that was to get the nod from the Supreme Court.

And you need to understand, the Supreme Court didn't rule against Al Gore.  They ruled against the voters in Florida.   They ruled against the people of the United States.  It was a fundamental failure of Democracy.

And here's what really aggravates me about it.  Notice the last name of Chief Injustice Rehnquist.  My last name is Rehn.  My great grandparents dropped the von (von Rehn) when they immigrated from Germany.  Yes, the names are similar, and it's no accident.  Our families merged in the1600's, we are descendants of Dutch royalty.  Way back then, the Dutch white considered themselves to be of the superior race and religion, as they sailed from isle to isle, preaching Christianity and enslaving the island natives. Apparently, some of them still do.

* * UPDATE:  7/29/2002 A Failure of Democracy, Not Capitalism, Benjamin R. Barber, New York Times

My distant uncle Ulysses S. Grant may have been a bit of a drunk, and fell off his horse from time to time, but he was no traitor to Democracy.  He defended it with his life.  I'm very proud of his heritage.

In Zimbabwe, they had elections with a great deal of fraud.  The United States Government does not recognize the government of Zimbabwe because of it.   It's the old ploy - accuse others of what you're doing to appear righteous.

zimbabweans.gif (4995 bytes)
The American Way!  Leadership by example!

That's what's so perverse about Bush's remarks in Florida when he challenged Fidel Castro to hold free and open elections, and to "listen to the voices of the people and count their votes".  Nothing could be more hypocritical, and yet it gives the appearance of righteousness and superiority.

George, that's what made me to decide to take you on.

You don't need to take my word on any of this.  Read the book "Stupid White Men", a New York Times Best Seller, by Michael Moore  www.michaelmoore.com  or go to www.gregpalast.com or go to www.thenation.com .

Here's the thing, George.  The truth is out there, more and more people know about it anyway.  Even if you somehow succeed in holding the throne, you will go down in history as the man who stole the nation.  Not an election, but you

"hijacked  a nation for your own cause, having nothing to do with the will of  the people".

Remember that line when he described Osama Bin Laden?

It's all double-talk and mis-direction. Lies. Half truths. Propaganda.

REPORT:  U.S. Government Doesn't Trust Americans

Now I'm going to tell everyone about more of the lies and deceptions that are being spread that are so disgusting.  Remember, think very carefully about what I'm going to say now, because you have to realize what was said and what actually occurred.  They are 2 very different things.

Think about this before doing anything. Your way of life depends on it.

There is a great deal of evidence that points out that the successful attacks on 911 were, at least, allowed by the Bush Administration.

REPORT:  Bin Laden Met with the CIA in July and Walked Away

There is a great deal of evidence that the anthrax attacks were done by a man employed by the United States Government out of Fort Dietrich.  He's got a very successful history at the art of genocide. They say he did it to show how vulnerable the United States is to attack. Given this man's history and position. I would think a phone call would have done just as well. And they have no intention of arresting him.

Report: Anthrax? The F.B.I. Yawns - New York Times

Report: US anthrax attackers aimed to assassinate Democratic leaders. Media silent on military links

With all due respect to Mr.  Hatfill, it appears that he is being set up.   Time will tell, but that is the indication

Furthermore, the attacks were precipitated by threats of attacks on Afghanistan should they not capitulate to U.S. Government demands to grant access and protection for the Caspian Sea Pipeline.

We were planning to attack Afghanistan on October 5th, 2001.    The 911 attacks were a pre-emptive strike.  And they were just the excuse needed to rile the American spirit to cause you to back this war for oil. I fell for it at first, too.

The companies that would have benefitted most from the pipeline, and who had some $3.2 billion invested in the project were Unocal, General Electric and Enron.

Hamid Karzai, now President of Afghanistan was previously employed by Unocal as a consultant in the negotiations to secure the Caspian Sea Pipeline.

Now, let's talk a little about what happened after the attacks on 911.  Please try to keep in mind, I'm just telling you what's been known for a long, long time.

The phrase Osama Bin Laden high jacked a religion for his cause...

One of the faith-based charities George Bush really likes is www.heritage.org This organization was founded by Jerry Falwell.  If you look at the site, you'll be surprised to find it's Republican Message Control Headquarters.  What I mean is this:  if you want to know what your favorite Republican is going to say on tv long before he gets on the air, just go to this site.

Interestingly enough, The Heritage Foundation just received a designation called  501c3 tax-exempt status.  That means it can receive tax-deductible donations, and government grants.

Bottom line:  George Bush wants to give a religious leader our tax dollars to operate the web site for the Republican Party. Falwell's involvement, after all, makes it   A faith based charity.  Or maybe they want to give it to another Falwell enterprise, a little community in Virginia that Falwell is attempting to incorporate into a city. See this story.

See, the words sound good.  The facts don't back it up.  In fact, they point to a conspiracy. When you hear the phrase, you think good things are going to happen.  But, like most things that sound good in the Bush Administration, there are ulterior motives.  And even though the ambiguous words used accurately describe the situation, it is all a lie to keep you from knowing the facts about the situation.  If you knew the facts,  you wouldn't like it.  You would not approve.

Why am I picking on Jerry Falwell?  Frankly, it's because I was baptised a Southern Baptist in 1963.  The work Mr. Falwell is doing right now disgusts me.  Here's why

Why would he want to teach that Islam is inferior to Christianity?

There are many reasons that go back many, many years, that have indications of the settling of old scores for the days when George Bush, Sr. was the head of the CIA.  Even the hostage taking in Iran was the result of the United States propping up an unpopular regime for strategic military purposes.

Speaking of which, we've been told for years that there is a drug war or narco-terror war occurring in Columbia.   I'm don't know all the facts, but it appears to me more like a civil war.  And it does appear that FARC, the "militant terrorists", use the sale of drugs to finance their cause. (Now, why is it marijuana is illegal?)

This uprising of the people against a corrupt government is the reason for the ads suggesting that buying drugs supports terrorism.  The judgement is,  as always, dependent upon your point of view. Remember, it was George Bush SR who wanted to oppose the "terrorists".

Let's take a look at their cause.  For more than 20 years, the FARC have been assembling an army of 35,000 professionally trained soldiers, made up of the disident people of Columbia, in order to reach a strength adequate to overthrow the supposed Democracy, known to most Columbian citizens (I know some) as an oppressive government. Troop strength of 35,000 is an indication of support of at least 150,000 people.

Recently, they issued an edict to over 100 mayors to leave the area   or be assassinated.  These mayors' resignations were rejected by their Federal Government.  But the mayors are seldom to be found.

The Bush Administration has committed "assistance" to the new Colombian leader Uribe to quell the problem.  Can you say El Salvador?

REPORT:  Bush Commits Troops to Protect Occidental Pipeline

Elsewhere in South America.  Remember Venezuela and the coup that happened? It's all about oil, and the Bush Administration was directly involved in a coup to overthrow a Democratic Government.  That's significant. We were supposed to like Democracies.  I guess they just don't like the leader that was elected.  They wanted to pick the leader themselves.  An oil executive.

What's worse, the primary "in-country" leader of the coup, Pedro Carmona, is now living in Colombia.  The 3 other conspirators now live in Florida.  Here we go with Florida again.

One of these days, I'll tell you what our country did to Saudi Arabia.  I, too, was offered a job as a manager of a pizza parlor in Riyadh.

And,  just when you thought the cold war was over...  In the last 5 years, Russia has increased it's weapon sales 6 fold.  Why was Sudan named as a potential first-strike target?  It has nothing to do with terrorism.  It has to do with their recent purchase, among other things, of some $132 million worth of Soviet jets, complete with Russian pilots. Will they help us with Iraq? Or, are they preparing to defend Sudan from a Holcaust - this time the Arabs as the object of genocide - and all for a 10 year supply of oil?

Even more, Russia's export of weapons to U.S. adversaries has now surpassed the total yearly sales of arms by the United States.

Why don't Europeans want the United States to invade Iraq?   Primarily because there is no provocation.  Remember, you never heard any speeches threatening the United States until George Bush threatened Iraq.

When Bush says that Iraq has sleeper cells in the United States, I have to wonder what we're up to.  Those terrorists in Iraq, were they set up as a sleeper cell network by the U.S.?

Is the axis of evil a cover for our alliances with countries who will make war on  our behalf?  Is the Sudan gearing up to assist Iran in a war with Iraq?  Only time will tell.

UPDATE 8/1/2002   Iraqi opposition leaders to meet in Iran

Are the recent sanctions against certain Chinese companies for transferring technology illegally to Iran a guise for a purposeful exchange?

The morning of the 911 attacks, I got a phone call from a friend.  All they said was "turn on the news".

I couldn't believe my eyes.  The south tower was on fire.   All I could think was "Oh, my God". I didn't know what had happened.   Then I saw this plane come looping in.  I thought, "That's strange" and it hit the North Tower.  I watched it over and over and over again. And then the towers fell. I still couldn't believe it. I knew people who worked in those buildings who didn't come out alive.

I went through all of the horror and grief like millions of Americans.  And I wondered why. I wondered what we had done to bring this on ourselves.

You know how they always say, follow the money?  Below is an excerpt from a more comprehensive report

27. September 6-7, 2001 - 4,744 put options (a speculation that the stock will go down) are purchased on United Air Lines stock as opposed to only 396 call options (speculation that the stock will go up). This is a dramatic and abnormal increase in sales of put options. Many of the UAL puts are purchased through Deutschebank/AB Brown, a firm managed until 1998 by the current Executive Director of the CIA, A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard. 28. September 10, 2001 - 4,516 put options are purchased on American Airlines as compared to 748 call options. [Source: ICT - above]

29. September 6-11, 2001 - No other airlines show any similar trading patterns to those experienced by UAL and American. The put option purchases on both airlines were 600% above normal. This at a time when Reuters (September 10) issues a business report stating, "Airline stocks may be poised to take off."

30. September 6-10, 2001 - Highly abnormal levels of put options are purchased in Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, AXA Re(insurance) which owns 25% of American Airlines, and Munich Re. All of these companies are directly impacted by the September 11 attacks. [Source: ICT, above; FTW, Vol. IV, No.7, October 18, 2001, http://www.fromthewilderness.com/

31. It has been documented that the CIA, the Israeli Mossad and many other intelligence agencies monitor stock trading in real time using highly advanced programs reported to be descended from Promis software. This is to alert national intelligence services of just such kinds of attacks. Promis was reported, as recently as June, 2001 to be in Osama bin Laden's possession and, as a result of recent stories by FOX, both the FBI and the Justice Department have confirmed its use for U.S. intelligence gathering through at least this summer. This would confirm that CIA had additional advance warning of imminent attacks.

But, they say they there was no way to know the attacks were coming.

It all sounds like treason to me.

UPDATE:  8/1/2002

7/31/2002 Man suspected of selling IDs to hijackers - Escapes to Egypt CNN Justice Correspondent Kelli Arena and New York producers Phil Hirschkorn and Adam Reiss contributed to this story.

Remember Marc Rich,  the millionaire in exile that Bill Clinton pardoned at the last minute before his administration ended?  The controvery was about racketeering charges stemming from the use of subsidiary companies outside the United States to illegally sell materials to an enemy of the United States.

Guess what Dick Cheney did at Halliburton?  Maybe the embargoes were simply to make it impossible for the other companies to compete for the sales of the goods and services.  Maybe the people of Iraq are suffering for the good of these same corporations that have betrayed us so horribly.

And, like always, the Bush Administration and the Republicans made as much to do about it as possible in order to cover the tracks of Dick Cheney.   Half-truths and mis-direction.  It's all propaganda.

You know, I could do this for hours and hours and hours.  Before this is over, I probably will.

Still, there's more that I must say.

You might ask, why would they do this? Money?  It's worse than that.

They want to be kings of the world.  Just like Hitler.  And no, I'm not crazy, all you need to do is read a history book or two.

Everything these people are doing fits the steps Hitler took to take command of the nation of Germany.

Think about what has actually occurred since George Bush took office. Not what you've heard and been told.  Think of what has actually happened.  It can all be explained most easily when you read this.

A quote form Hermann Goering, Adolf Hitler's 2nd in command, regarding How to Generate Public Acceptance & Enthusiasm for War

"Why, of course the people don't want war.  Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is  to come back to his farm in one piece?"

"Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood."

"But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship."

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy."

"All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.  It works the same in any country."

Hitler and his people staged phony attacks to make the German people think they were in danger.  Hitler made the economy go crazy using hyper-inflation to cause the people to go bankrupt and become reliant on the government, to fill them with fear about their futures while he robbed them of their social conscience.

They robbed the people by artifically inflating the prices of commodities and utilities, reaping huge windfall profits. They made the people dependent upon the government and churches to survive.

In the United States, they do it with oil prices, energy prices, housing prices, the stock market.  They sell you half as much for twice the price, and call it an embargo, or a shortage or corporate fraud.

In California, rolling blackouts occur time and time again.  We see reports that prices were inflated by Enron and that there was no real shortage of energy, and still the rolling blackouts and brownouts continue.

And there could only be one reason why:  To cause dissatisfaction for the Democratic Governor amongst the people so they'll vote for a Republican.  The timing is impeccable.

Hitler began to use citizen spies to intimidate the citizens into believing that they could not trust their neighbors, it destroyed the national unity of the people of Germany. They dared not speak a word that did not seem patriotic or in disagreement with Hitler's policies. And the penalty was arrest and finally death. You just didn't know who to trust.

REPORTS: Citizen Spies

Hitler used the church to spread his doctrine, to support the ideas of national danger... foisted upon them by the people they trust most, in fact, relied on just to survive. They were scared for their lives, and they placed their absolute trust in their leaders to save them.

And then, he coerced other nations to help him conquer the world with their armies, or risk annihaltion themselves.

And they're not even creative about it.  Their arrogance and trust in the people to lie down and accept oppression is as bold and brazen as any racketeer left unchecked. And, up until now, they've been succeeding.  We are on the precipice of fascism in a totalitarian state, and it's time to stop it now.

Friday night, George Bush said he would veto the Homeland Security bill now in the Senate based on the idea that it would not give him the ability to shift personnel and resources as he deemed necessary to combat terrorism.

It was a great recycling of an FDR address made to Congress, when FDR wanted to place price controls on milk.  He told Congress that if they did not pass the legislation, he would use his powers to issue an executive order to regulate the price of milk in the interest of national security.

They place the spotlight on Senator Joseph Lieberman as the man who refuses to give Bush what he wants, the obstacle to the implementation of the plan to save our nation.

If  Bush doesn't get what he wants, he'll use the grief of us all to fill your mind with hatred and contempt for the Democrats, to cancel Lieberman out as a potential Presidential candidate, and to force the Democrats to lose control of any of the bodies of government.

The truth thus far is that Lieberman won't let in the TIPS provision of the legislation. The Republican controlled house excluded it, in a maneuvre that is a perfect set-up to defame the Democratic Party in the eyes of America, as we grieve the 1 year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

That would give the Republican party a tri-fecta.  Meaning they could pass any law they want to, without open discussion.  They wouldn't even have to tell you they had passed any laws.  And they certainly would not have to listen to the voice of the people.  And after a while, they wouldn't have to pass any laws, they could just make them up as they go along.

And that means, anytime they want, any time you dare to step out of line, they'll arrest you.  Just like the so-called terrorists of the world.   Just like in Germany.

And there's much more to it.  More than you can imagine.   Because they've been planning it for years.

So, I ask the question again, why doesn't Europe agree with an attack on Iraq to topple Saddam Hussein?

Because Europe witnessed first hand the events that led to the rise of Adolf Hitler. Step by step.  Piece by piece.  And then they were attacked, almost left to ruins until the United States stepped in and led the armies to victory for the cause of freedom and justice and equality and Democracy.

And all of those things add up to a horrifying conclusion that brings an end to liberty in the world.  Because we are the dominant nation.  We are the judges of the world.  And we will seek out and destroy whoever or whatever attempts to get in the way.   Just like Hitler.

And that's the government supposedly elected by the Election of 2000.

And this is one pencil-necked geek who won't let you, or the American people, forget it.
