[Editor's note:  This page may end up sounding  a little strange, because this is the new page where I'll be communicating with MSNBC, CNBC and NBC.  I'm sure it'll sound strange, because you won't know the whole story, what I'm addressing, and how they're actually responding.  Use your imagination. Call this keeping communications channels open.  You will understand it more, however, if you read What is Propaganda? first]

8/16/2002 - Something just told me last night I had to watch you guys... I can't believe you're doing the "Elvis is Alive thing" Shame on you.

Everybody, quick, check out www.simonemovie.com It's important

PS Pat: Thank God for you and Bay.  I knew you were good people.

And here, I thought I was going to call off the NBC Boycott.

John Elliott reminds me of Earth the Final Conflict.

By the way, marriage means little anymore, and certainly means nothing about moral character. What matters is commitment.

8/3/2002 - Dear Mr. Imus - I can tell  by your remarks that you're feeling left out, so I wanted to fill the void for you.   Yes, you too were one of my heroes back in the old days. I actually almost flew to New York when I was 17 just so I could listen to you live.  Then, I  heard about your rate of tardiness... so I decided not to risk the money.

I lived in the hills of Eureka, California then.  We didn't have electricity, our water came from a spring on the top of the hill, we didn't have tv, and I played my guitar 5 hours a day.  It was a great life.  Everyone should try it for awhile.  Makes you appreciate what's really important.

Anyway, every morning at 5 am, I would get out my battery operated radio and drive to the top of a hill.  and listen to Dr. Don Rose.  I even subscribed to the Electric Weenie.  One time, I had to go to the hospial in San Francisco for a week.  It was when the SLA was active.  The nurses kept wanting to take the radio away from me, but I wouuldn't let them.  24 hours a day, I t was 610 KFRC.  They got concerned because I wasn't sleeping.:}

My mentors were a guy named Mike Cappi, and a Stanford Grad named Francis Dickerson, who now, I understand, operates an advertising firm in San Francisco.   I studied KFRC so closely, that I knew every nuance and understood why.  It was great.  Dr. Don, Marvelous Mark, John McFlannagan, John St. John, and before all that, Casey Kasem.  And the genious of Les Garland and JJ Jackson.

I got to work with Frank Colburn at KMBY 1240 Music Power in Monterey (now, I think, he's at a Christian Station in San Antonio.)  He made me use the name Johnny Sunday.  He was the boss.  And the biggest mistake I ever made was not sticking with KTOM in Salinas, where I would have had a future (they really liked me there).  But I was working at 3 different stations at the time, and I had to make a choice. I had to have signs in front of me to remember what station I was on, to keep the top of the hour id straight, and all the segways in the right places.  I was Mark Donovan, Chuck Davis, and I can't even remember the other name I used.  It was just after KLRS went satellite, due to bad management, and the year after Program Director Mark Hammond got Billboard's Program Director of the Year Award for what was the second New Age station in the country.  I presented a format to a large company who I want nothing from by saying this, the company that bought KLRS and did a simulcast in San Francisco... and they went number 1 from Petaluma to Monterey in 3 weeks.  I call it Classic AC, based on the Q format that dominated radio's Progressive MOR back then. And I learned it all from people like you.

So then, we come back to you.  I can do 1200 Hamburgers, Baby Huey and AJ Foyt like they were my own... the Rev. Billy Sol Hargiss too. (I always credit you). I never tried to do Uptight White.

And while Mike shows up at 6 am to use words like Sleazeball to describe those he disagrees with, :} I just think you're  a good example of someone displaying the facade of righteousness, the throwing of stones in a glass house. Mike, some people said that about you too, and I still don't think it's true.  Never did.

Fianlly, it has nothing to do with whether Mike is better than Chris. Good is good.  Such evaluations should be made only addressing the skills and ideas brought to the table today, acknowledging the truth for the purpose of self-improvement, and dealing with the real issues of the day, instead of using destruction of character as a weapon to avoid the real issues.

Here's a question for you... what real contributions are you willing to make to cause change for the good in this country, instead of just looking for the bad?  I know it's easier to do, and people love to hear it because they vicariously relieve frustration through your remarks, but what good does it cause in the world?  And do you care?  And yeah, I knwo about the ranch, but what's that got to do with the things you say and your influence on people?

I'd have thought that you of all people would have the guts to expose the truth of Election 2000.  Not even you.

Feel free to blast me on the air, especially mention the website.   Tell them a pencil-necked geek, you know, one of the intellectually elite the propagandists are talking about?  Tell them.  Any visibility I can get sends my message to more people. And they like it. And I have no interest in running for public office.

7/30/2002 - Go Kuby Go Kuby Go Kuby Go!  Curtis has a really cute hat, but you've got to wonder a little what's underneath it. What a cowboy!   Speaking of the underlying truth, what if all of the media was representing the Republican way the way they do so that you could see the absurdity of it all. It may or may not be true, but that's my way of looking at it. Otherwise, it simply doesn't make sense.

As you can see, on this web site, the truth of what's occurring in the world is all over the media and the newspapers... you just have to be willing to see it, consider all points of view, and then look at the difference between what you're told to think, and what's actually occurring.  Then make up your own mind by comparing the information presented, and what your mother told you, the difference between right and wrong, good or bad, real or diversion and mis-direction.

I'm glad to see Bill Press figured out the little EX-POST FACTO possibilities of the corporate reform laws.

Me?  I've been watching the world and seeing people respond to their own hearts for freedom and America and the world.  I've been re-tooling the machine to ramp up for the coming elections, and getting a whole lot more sleep.   Every word I've written on this web site has been in response to prayer... I just write what I'm told to do, and I did a lot of praying last night. Peace Train, baby.   Peace Train.  Is it a coincidence that song was written by Cat Stevens, a Muslim?  I don't believe in coincidences. :}

Time to get to work.

7/27/2002 - Another week, another box of video.

7/25 - Dang, Mike, I always knew that when you got your confidence up you'd do a heck of a job.  You've really come into your own. Congratulations.  I don't mind opposing views.

I wasn't going to do this, but just a quick one:  the issue with global warming isn't about the temperature for humans... I like it warmer myself.   Ask anyone who lives with me :}It's all those little bugs in the soil and the worms and the little plants that are at the heart of the food chain, and keep the soil active.  The little roots that keep the topsoil from eroding away.  The topsoil we depend on for food.

The most beautifful place I 've ever lived is Yosemite.  I fear for Tuolumne Meadows.  And now, I live on the edge of the Olympic rain forest, and all the trees are dying.  Just dying.  And it hasn't rained in 3 weeks.

The pollution we create kills the rain forests, which produce the volume of oxygen we need to survive.  It's a cyclical thing, for the good and the bad.  It can go either way.  Kyoto wasn't perfect at all... but it represented the global acknowledgement of the problem, and it was a start.

When you think of what Monsanto does, I have to admit from a logical point of view it makes sense... except that it actually  challenges the pests to advance more quickly.  Everything suggests that. And once you cross pollinate the plants, you lose the natural balance of things, and there's no going back.  And that doesn't even address the issue of the patenting of the technology, and the control of the world's source of food...

PS:  I have a new story coming up.  All of my heroes are liars:  the decline of the American role model.

7/23 - Sorry to hear about Chris getting Malaria.   Those bugs from overseas can be tough.  I hope he really does get well soon.

I really do want to keep things focused.  This is about the truth of the election of 2000.   This is about America, and this is about Democracy. I will not quit until the truth is known, if it takes 10 years.
